The
« High Aragon »
is one of the wildest regions in the Pyrenees. To the North are
the mountain range’s highest summits, whilst in the South
forgotten sierras offer splendid canyons.
A national park and two natural parks make up this region, in
which dantesque views give way to steep-sided valleys dotted with
solitary villages perched on high.
The village of Arcusa lies between Ainsa and Alquezar, on the
Rio Véro road.
A few kilometres away from the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National
Park, and at the gates of the Sierra de Guara National Park known
for its canyons, the Gîte-Hostel offers splendid views in
a privileged spot.
Situated in
the old school in the village centre, the Arcusa Gîte-Hostel,
with its pine-shaded terrace, is a friendly place to enjoy aperitifs-tapas
or to taste our Pyrenean cuisine.
Accommodation is for twenty-four guests, in a convivial and relaxed
atmosphere.
